TeamElite

Hello, My name is Callum Waite and I'm the team leader of TeamElite. TeamElite is a team from Wilmington Academy and we are a group of young sixth former's formed from eight sixteen year olds with a goal to achieve. That goal is to redesign and rebuild our old electric car into an all new improved one that we will be entering into the  Greenpower 24+ formula race.

Greenpower 24+ competition is a race over many tracks for teams aged between 16 and   25 years old this makes it ideal for sixth forms, youth groups, apprentices and universities.

This formula is all about designing and building an electric car with a standard motor and sets of batteries. The teams can design and build any shape or look,  this certainly doesn’t restrict the creativity we see on the grid meaning there will be a wide range of cars racing to win nationals.

The season consists of ten Championship rounds that are each of 60 minutes duration. Teams must enter at least three events then the team's top three results determine their position in the final championship table.

We run solo on sponsorship money to do and complete this wonderful, exciting project. 

This means we have been in contact with many big companies to get a sponsorship with, we have currently  been sponsored by Miss Trusler Principle of Wilmington Academy while also being sponsored by Mr Hassett Head of Minerva.
